At Amazing Grace Lutheran we want you to know we care deeply about our church and preschool families. With your well-being in mind…

  • Following Horry County’s decision to close schools, Amazing Grace Lutheran Preschool is closed for the next two weeks. We will follow the school system’s lead in determining when classes resume.
  • Mornings with Mommy sessions are temporarily cancelled until further notice.
  • Public gatherings have been suspended.

We Care About Your Spiritual Well-Being
Amidst the concerns over the recent virus outbreak, hear the words of Jesus “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) Despite concerns regarding the recent virus outbreak we take comfort knowing that Jesus has overcome this too. Jesus won the victory over sin, death, and the devil that first Easter. In doing so, he solved the greatest problem we will ever face. Because of that, we “say with confidence, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” (Hebrews 13:6)

We pray for the health and well-being of our church family, our community, our nation, and the people of this world during this unsettling time.

We Know You Care About Others Too
Please join us in praying for the well-being of everyone impacted by the coronavirus. We also ask that you please be mindful of the guidance from the CDC, including:

  • Stay home when you or a family member are sick.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Consider avoiding contact with people for 14 days if you have recently traveled to an area where Coronavirus is prevalent.

What’s Next?

The uncertainty of this outbreak has created anxiety, uncertainty, and a plethora of unknowns.  Yet, we remain confident of God’s constant presence and careful attention to all that is happening. Psalm 16:8 says, “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

Therefore, let us not fear, but with confidence use this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus through our prayers and our care for others.
